First the old Testament..........( to be continued)

.....such as in the book of Leviticus in the infamous verse 20:13 , in which it states that if a man lay with a man they way he does with a women... both are abomination." Now Leviticus is herald as a book of law from God even in the old testament it is part of the first five books said to be given as prophecy to Moses from atop Mount. Sinai . However many kabbalists and Rabbi(s) indicate that the first five book where Genesis , Exodus, Both books of Numbers ( which was compiled into one book after the book of Leviticus was originally written )and Deuteronomy. It was later added as the book of law and placed in the Pentateuch or Torah so as to be seen as the law of God given by prophecy rather than a product of compilation. Secondly it also says in the same book that it is against the law to consume shellfish. Even if the law where true , then that would mean that all Laws of the book of Leviticus are valid and a sin when broken. So following that chain of logic, ( as most Christian Fundamentalists subscribe to .) , then would the consumption of shrimp or lobster be seen as a mortal sin to that of being gay and if so WHY NOT?! Where does the distinction lie?!Thus , since the glaring hypocrisy exists..it is a prejudice . Which when taken away from the view of human vanity is; MERELY an Opinion!

Next the second biggest story most people pick and chose is that of Sodom and Gomorrah which most( American) Christians couldn't tell you where in the bible this is found. However it is described in the book of Jude , the main moral of the story is Gods amazing grace and mercy. He tells lot (the only Jew in Sodom ) to find him a hundred holy people so he wouldn't have to destroy the two sister cities. Lot, knowing his fellow towns men , bargained God down to that of ten holy people .
Now in these overly pagan cities , where worship to certain foreign and even Demonic Gods included the practice of sodomy. Which is the act of fornication with out the purpose of procreation. Well ,then Lot talks God down to 10 holy people in the whole region Jew or not. Now if God hated these people because they were practicing homosexuality , why would he have been willing to save them in the first place ?
She/he then decides two send two angels down from Heaven to meet Lot ( one of them being St. Michael ) so as to offer guidance and protection out of the un-holy cities. Lot unfortunately cant find ten holy people and on the eve of their leaving , Lots house is accosted by a group of men wanting to " know" the angels .
Now here it does not state specifically what it meant to "know" these Angels however because Lot is willing to give up one of his virgin daughters there is a clear indication that it was sexual.
However just because these men wanted to rape those Angels, doesn't mean they where homosexual . Rape has often being used as a means to establish dominance over one man ..such as in Deliverance( movie) and the current situation in Darfur ( the brutality being experienced by the women and men in the Sudan). It was more of an act to defile Lot's sanctity and love for these Angels and the one true God . That was the sin ...wrath that incurred Gods'!
